About Korean Beauty Bar

 Born and raised in Kinston, NC, my skincare journey began at the young age of 10, when I faced acne long before most of my peers. Frustrated by the lack of effective solutions from the doctor’s office, I took it upon myself to explore answers. I vividly remember creating homemade masks in my kitchen and sharing them with friends—a testament to my early passion for skincare.

After graduating high school, I pursued a degree in Sociology and Anthropology at NC State University. Later, I relocated to Charlotte, where I discovered that aesthetics had become an independent and thriving field. Inspired, I returned to school to immerse myself in the art and science of skincare.

My career has taken me across Charlotte, NYC, Chicago, and Raleigh, eventually transitioning into medical aesthetics. I had the honor of working alongside the renowned dermatologist, Dr. John Jennings, for a decade in Goldsboro, NC. During this time, I refined my craft and laid the foundation for establishing my own practice. When Dr. Jennings retired, I saw an opportunity to further my expertise and completed the Accelerated Nursing Program at ECU, graduating in December 2023. In January 2024, I officially became a Registered Nurse and realized my dream of launching Meacham Beauty in March of the same year.

The chance to pursue my passion every day is a privilege I deeply cherish. I am dedicated to staying at the forefront of the skincare industry, continuously enhancing my skills through seminars, advanced training, and ongoing education. I look forward to sharing my expertise with you and helping you achieve your skincare goals.
